Self-regulating with adjustable power
Various temperature ranges
Power adjustment according to need
High chemical resistance
No temperature limitation required (important for hazardous areas)
Easy installation
Can be cut to desired length from a roll
Connection via plug-in connectors
Widely used in UOP processes in the chemical industry such as PDHD, aerospace and weapons industries, as well as in many research and production laboratories such as universities.
Are you a manufacturer?
Yes, we are a factory and we welcome all our customers to visit our factory.
Is a thermostat required for a self-regulating heating cable?
Although the cable is referred to as "self-regulating", it does not turn on and off completely on its own. For this reason, we recommend using a controller or thermostat with this type of heating cable.
Can the heating cable touch itself?
Attention: For constant power series heaters (HTEK, TEK, TESH), do not allow contact, crossing or overlapping of the heating part of the heating cable.
At what temperature can heating tape be installed?
Heating tapes are available in various lengths from different manufacturers. Higher-quality tapes are equipped with a built-in temperature sensor that turns on the heating when the temperature drops to approximately 2°C (38°F). The manufacturer’s instructions for proper installation of the tape are provided on the packaging.
How hot does self-regulating heating tape get?
Self-regulating heating tapes barely heat up, so they cannot thaw pipes. In fact, they should be installed on pipes long before the first freeze. New self-regulating heating tapes turn on at temperatures below 40–38°C.
